Job Specific Accountabilities
- Assists Commercial Manager in the delivery of his objectives in the area of commercial strategies and processes.
- Participates in improving the contractual terms and conditions of proposed contracts in coordination with suppliers and contractors.
- Participates in formulating and revising strategies for tendering and award of contracts to ensure transparency, fairness and best commercial practices.
- Assists in the preparation and submission of reports in a timely and accurate manner.
- Participates in the evaluation of Monthly Management Reports, prepares summarized reports, comments and recommends appropriate action plans
- Communicate company’s forecast requirements to vendor markets, work with other Commercial Section to understand vendor capabilities.
- Analyze and constantly improve the Commercial Strategies during and after their implementation.
- Identify, in coordination with other Commercial Sections, areas where performance can be improved, and analyze, strategize, plan and coach them.
- Participates and develops in the planning of short, medium and long-term Business Strategies and Assist in developing the company’s Business strategy.
- Defines Commercial Service Level Agreements with end user divisions and provide suggestions in the areas where improvement is required.
- Develops Commercial Division’s staff Competency Programme(s) covering all aspects of contracting, procurement, materials management and contract administration
Minimum Qualification
- Bachelor Degree in Engineering discipline, Business Administration or equivalent.
