Description

We are seeking a Project Planner who will focus on Change Management to join the MCR team. The incumbent will assist the Integrated Project Teams in identifying and analyzing Changes related to the projects.

Job Details

Specific Accountabilities

  • Support the MCR reporting and data collection
  • Work with the Project Control Lead to develop and implement the training strategy
  • Assist in the development and implementation of Change Management plans to support the delivery of project and program level Change Management in the identification, evaluation, analysis, planning, tracking, reporting, and controlling project/program Changes on a continuous basis throughout the project life cycle
  • Monitoring and ensuring project changes documentation is current and in compliance with site governing documents
  • Facilitate/moderate/document the Identified Project Changes  process with the Integrated Project Teams based on the input from the project stakeholders
  • Evaluate trends, changes, forecast, KPI’s, lead indicators in Project Change Management effectiveness and initiate programmatic improvements
  • Other duties as required

    •  “Communicates Effectively”:  Strong presentation skills.  The individual shall be able to give a compelling presentation of the results from the change assessment to the project team, as well as subject matter expertise in Change Management, as well as to other project stakeholders where necessary
    •  “Communicates Effectively”:  Solid grasp of English, both oral and written, to communicate effectively with others, and to prepare change reports and presentations

 

Education and Experience

  • This knowledge is considered to be normally acquired through the successful completion of a four year university in an appropriate field, plus further concentrated post-graduate study such as in project management theory or by having the equivalent level of education
  • Certification by the Project Management Institute (PMI) as a Project Management Professional (PMP) and/or demonstrated familiarity with the PMI Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK®) considered an asset.
  • International Cost Engineering Certification and/or demonstrated familiarity with the International standards with regards to change management, risk, schedule and cost management considered a strong asset.
