BELL DIVING SUPERVISOR
Qualifications / Experience
- Shall have a minimum of THREE consecutive or accumulative years’ verifiable previous experience, with at least 300 days spent offshore serving as a Closed Bell Diving Supervisor with duties including the supervision of diving operations using equivalent diving equipment to the system to be employed during this contract, and whilst conducting a similar scope of works to those to be undertaken during the course of this contract - Logbook evidence is to be available for verification by the on-board CSR or DTA
- Shall be in possession of an in date IMCA or IMCA recognised equivalent Closed Bell Diving Supervisor’s certificate.
- Shall be in possession of a fully completed and up-to-date IMCA Diving Supervisors Logbook.
- Shall be in possession of a D.P vessel awareness training certificate.
- Shall provide evidence of completing the Contractor’s company familiarisation process.
- Preferred to have formal leadership and/or man-management training.
- Shall be in possession of a valid Industry accepted First Aid at Work certificate, or, shall be in possession of a valid IMCA approved Diver Medic Technician (DMT) training certificate either certificate shall have a minimum 6-month residual validity
- Shall provide evidence to attest that he is fully familiarised and acquainted with:
- All contractor’s operational procedures, Diving Safety Management System, Diving Project Plan, Health Safety and Environmental Management Systems, or Integrated Management Systems.
- Incident / accident reporting and investigation procedures, emergency response procedures.
- Personal safe working practices and safety procedures on-board the vessel or installation, all relevant HSE legislation and guidance.
- All factors which affect the safety and security of project and diving personnel, risk assessments, management of change, permit to work procedures.
- Operations and maintenance activities management to minimise HSE risks and impacts.
- Company hazard and behavioural & hazard observation systems, lead and promote safety briefings, lead the planning and preparation of risk assessments for all safety critical areas.
Competency
Shall have demonstrated competence as a Closed Bell Diving Supervisor in accordance with the IMCA C- 003 competency scheme by providing a fully completed & endorsed:
