Job Details
Key Responsibilities:
1. Cost Estimation and Analysis (40%)
Prepare detailed project cost estimates, including material, labor, and overhead expenses.
Develop Bills of Quantities (BOQ) and ensure alignment with project budgets.
Conduct feasibility studies and value engineering to optimize project costs.
Analyze market trends and pricing to ensure competitive cost estimation.
2. Procurement and Contract Administration (30%)
Assist in procuring materials, services, and subcontractor agreements.
Monitor and administer contracts, ensuring compliance with project specifications.
Manage vendor and subcontractor payments and prepare final accounts.
3. Quantity Take-off and Valuation (20%)
Conduct detailed quantity take-offs based on drawings and specifications.
Prepare valuations for interim applications and progress reports.
Ensure accurate measurements and documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
4. Coordination and Reporting (10%)
Collaborate with project teams to ensure cost-effective solutions are implemented.
Provide regular cost and progress updates to project stakeholders.
Address discrepancies and provide recommendations for corrective measures.
Qualifications and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Architecture .
Minimum of 5–7 years of experience in Procurement & Quantity Surveying for construction projects, particularly high-rise buildings or villa projects.
Proficiency in quantity surveying software (e.g., CostX, Primavera, AutoCAD).
Strong knowledge of BOQ preparation, cost analysis, and contract administration.
Familiarity with project budgeting, procurement processes, and value engineering.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, MS Excel, and QS software.
