We are seeking an experienced Construction Manager specializing in Finishing, Fitout, and Joinery to oversee and manage all aspects of construction projects related to interior finishing and joinery work. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in construction management, a deep understanding of finishing processes, and a proven track record of successfully delivering high-quality projects on time and within budget.

Responsibilities:

Project Planning and Coordination:
Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource requirements.
Coordinate with project stakeholders, including architects, engineers, subcontractors, and clients to ensure project goals are understood and met.
Quality Control:
Implement and enforce quality control processes to ensure that finishing, fitout, and joinery work meet or exceed industry standards.
Conduct regular inspections to identify and address any quality issues promptly.
Resource Management:
Oversee the allocation of resources, including manpower, materials, and equipment.
Work closely with procurement teams to ensure timely and cost-effective sourcing of materials.
Budget Management:
Monitor project budgets and financial performance, making adjustments as needed to ensure projects remain within budget constraints.
Provide accurate and timely financial reporting to senior management.
Timeline Management:
Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring that all phases of finishing, fitout, and joinery are completed on time.
Identify and address any delays or obstacles to maintain project timelines.
Risk Management:
Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize project disruptions.
Proactively address issues that may impact project delivery.
Communication:
Facilitate clear and open communication among project teams, subcontractors, and clients.
Provide regular updates to senior management on project status, highlighting key achievements and potential challenges.
Safety Compliance:
Ensure that all construction activities adhere to safety regulations and standards.
Implement and enforce safety protocols to create a secure working environment.
Client Relationship Management:
Build and maintain positive relationships with clients through effective communication and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
Address client concerns promptly and professionally.
Documentation:
Maintain accurate project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and project reports.
Ensure that all documentation is organized and easily accessible.


Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
Proven experience in managing construction projects with a focus on finishing, fitout, and joinery.
Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and industry best practices.
Excellent project management and organizational skills.
Effective leadership and team management abilities.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Familiarity with relevant software tools for project management and documentation.
